Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Jibha when you send a parcel, carry one, or use jibhadelivery.com.
Last updated — 27 August 2026
1.This agreement
These terms apply when you use the Jibha customer app, the Jibha courier app, or jibhadelivery.com. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not, do not use the service.
2.What Jibha is, and is not
Jibha is a marketplace. We connect senders with independent couriers, handle dispatch, pricing, tracking and settlement, and provide support when something goes wrong.
Jibha is not a carrier and does not itself transport parcels. Couriers are independent contractors, not our employees. They choose which jobs to accept and when to work.
3.Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code. Keep access to that number secure — anyone who receives the code can reach your account.
- One person, one account. Give accurate details and keep them current.
- Courier accounts additionally require identity and vehicle verification, and cannot accept work until that verification is approved.
4.Booking a delivery
When you book, you tell us what the parcel is, where it is going, and who is receiving it. You are responsible for the accuracy of that information and for packaging the parcel adequately for transport.
A four-digit handover code is shown to you and read back by the recipient at delivery. Do not share it before the parcel arrives — it is the proof that the handover happened.
5.What may not be sent
You may not send, and a courier may refuse or abandon:
- Anything illegal to possess or transport in Tunisia.
- Drugs, weapons, ammunition and explosives.
- Live animals.
- Cash, bullion, or bearer instruments.
- Hazardous, flammable, corrosive or radioactive material.
- Human remains or biological samples outside a licensed medical arrangement.
- Anything whose value exceeds the declared-value limit shown in the app, unless separately agreed.
Sending a prohibited item is a breach of these terms and may result in the parcel being surrendered to the authorities, your account being suspended, and you being liable for any resulting loss.
6.Fares, payment and cash on delivery
The fare is quoted in the app before you confirm, and is calculated from distance, vehicle type and the options you choose. Where a courier marketplace bid applies, the price you accept is the price you pay.
Cash on delivery is available within the limit shown in the app. Where you ask the courier to collect the value of goods on your behalf, that money is collected at the door and remitted to you according to the settlement schedule in the app. Jibha holds no liability for goods value beyond the amount actually collected and recorded.
7.If you are a courier
- You are an independent contractor. You decide when to be online and which offers to accept.
- You must hold a valid licence and be legally entitled to operate your vehicle, and must keep your verification documents current.
- You must be online and location-sharing to receive work. A persistent notification is shown while this is active.
- Cash you collect on a sender's behalf is held by you on trust and must be remitted on schedule. Platform commission and held-cash limits are shown in the app and may restrict further work when exceeded.
- Repeatedly abandoning accepted jobs, or failing verification, may end your access.
8.Cancellation and failed deliveries
You may cancel before a courier is assigned at no charge. After assignment, a cancellation fee may apply to cover the courier's travel.
If the recipient is unreachable or refuses the parcel, the courier records the failure with a photograph and the parcel is returned or held according to the options shown in the app. A return may be chargeable.
9.Liability
Jibha's liability for loss of or damage to a parcel is limited to the declared value recorded at booking, up to the maximum shown in the app at that time. Declare accurately — an undeclared value cannot be compensated.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for delay caused by conditions outside our control, or for loss arising from inadequate packaging or from a prohibited item. Nothing here excludes liability that Tunisian law does not permit us to exclude.
10.Conduct and suspension
Treat the person on the other end of a delivery decently. We may suspend or close an account for fraud, abuse, threats, repeated no-shows, non-remittance of collected cash, or any breach of these terms. Where we can, we will tell you why.
11.Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Tunisia, and the courts of Tunis have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
12.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continuing to use Jibha after that date means you accept the updated terms.
13.Contact
Jibha support is reachable on the number shown in the app under Account → Support, or by email at support@jibhadelivery.com.
